Chewie!

Welcome to our family Chewie!

Meet Chewie, our sweet girl lab. Chewie came all the way to us from Florida and picked specifically for Grayson.

She was part of the Southeastern Florida Guide Dog program! Chewie was unable to graduate the program, due to reoccurring ear infections, but she did complete 64 out of 80 guide dog hours. We are so proud of her! She is considered a companion dog and is part of our family now.

She won’t go to school with Grayson, but taking in all the love and cuddles from her little boy humans at home, bringing us so much joy and comfort.

She was picked for Grayson because she is calm, doesn’t jump, and is sweet as can be, plus she’s been on a few YouTube videos just like Grayson. She just turned 2!

Thank you to our friends who put in references for our family earlier this year, we started the process during early summer and have our sweet Chewie girl with us right before Thanksgiving.

We are thankful. She is loyal, cuddly and a great addition to our family.
